The Belcourt 100 Donor Circle

In honor and support of the Belcourt’s centennial year, we’re launching the Belcourt 100 Donor Circle—and seeking gifts of $1,000 from 100 donors, or more!

Donations can be made in a single gift, or pledged over 12 months (a gift of $83.33 per month). By joining the Belcourt 100 Donor Circle, your gift will directly support the dedicated work, programming and events around the Belcourt’s 100th anniversary — and your generosity will be recognized throughout our centennial year.

GIVE TO BELCOURT 100

About the Belcourt 100 Donor Circle:

In May 2025, the Belcourt Theatre turns 100. Throughout this upcoming centennial year, we’ll celebrate the Belcourt’s history, the people and groups that marked its many chapters, the communities that shaped it, and the theatre’s place in Nashville’s past, present and future.

Already, we’re undertaking a comprehensive oral history project (the theatre’s first) for the centennial — and through 2025, we’ll present dedicated special programming, exhibits (both permanent and revolving), seminars and other education offerings, and gatherings that give audiences opportunities to learn more about the city and neighborhood that the Belclourt’s grown up in over the last century. And as we mark this big anniversary year in so many special and celebratory ways, the Belcourt will continue to provide Nashville the best of independent film, new and repertory, and a rich array of education and engagements offerings — just as we always do.

To help fund this centennial celebration and its related projects, we turn to the generous community that has supported the Belcourt at so many important junctures.

As we look back on the past century, we invite you to be a part of our future by contributing to the Belcourt 100. Your support now ensures that the Belcourt Theatre continues to be a place where culture, and community come together through the art of film. Thank you for helping preserve the past and shape the future of this beloved Nashville institution.

Name A Seat

With a gift of $2,500, we’ll recognize your generosity on a Belcourt seat. Add your name (or a name of your choice), to the back of a seat in either the Belcourt’s 1925 Hall or 1966 Hall, or in our new Manzler/Webb Screening Room on the 2nd floor.

Gifts may be pledged over 12 months. Your plaque(s) will be installed after the completion of the pledge period. Choose the hall you prefer, or the new screening room. Specific seats cannot be chosen, however, and naming does not reserve a particular seat for your use. Plaques will remain in the place for the life of the halls’ or screening room’s seats (a minimum of 10 years).
