We’re very pleased to welcome Science on Screen® back to the Belcourt. This annual series funded through a grant by the Alfred P Sloan Foundation and Coolidge Corner Theatre seeks to connect science-fiction and science-centric films with scientists and researchers, and this year is shaping up to be one of our most interesting collections of films and speakers to date. We’re keeping our selections a bit more terrestrial this year, and focusing on some of the many issues that will affect our continued existence on this planet.

This modest collection of some of the great cinematic exploits of Saturday Night Live’s most iconic writers and performers celebrates the distinct comedic stylings of a true American institution celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
