Join us for a Sunday afternoon chat with beloved Nashville-based actor (and Belcourt member!) Alicia Witt –– who recently joined us to talk about her work in LONGLEGS –– as we discuss her prolific oeuvre of work with David Lynch. From her film debut as Alia Atreides in 1984’s DUNE to her role as Gersten Hayward in Twin Peaks (a role she later reprised in Twin Peaks: The Return) to her work in Lynch’s Hotel Room anthology series, we’ll explore Witt’s working relationship with the inimitable artist and illustrate the seminar with clips from these projects. And stick around after the conversation for a screening of DUNE (1984) at 1:15pm (ticketed separately).

Because L.A. was David Lynch’s chosen home, a constant source of inspiration, and a frequent setting of his films, it only feels appropriate to donate a portion of the proceeds for this event via The Souls Point Fund to support rebuilding following the recent devastating fires. Founded by filmmaker Mark Duplass, The Souls Point Fund is a nonprofit grassroots relief organization focused on sustainable rebuilding and ensuring no one is left behind, especially those who might be overlooked by larger efforts.
