LADY AND THE TRAMP

Part of Weekend Classics: Animal Kingdom

This Disney animated classic follows a pampered cocker spaniel named Lady, whose comfortable life slips away once her owners have a baby. When Lady finds herself on the loose and out on the street, she is befriended and protected by the tough stray mutt Tramp. A romance begins to blossom between the two dogs, but their many differences, along with more drama at Lady’s household, threaten to keep them apart.

“The quintessential American love story — the one between the spoiled heiress and the spontaneous, fun-loving guy from the wrong side of the tracks — has seldom been more elegantly and entertainingly told.” —Dave Kehr, Chicago Tribune

“With cracking music, a rollicking pace and dialogue that stands up to scrutiny, LADY AND THE TRAMP really is among Walt's very best.” —Phil Thomas, Empire Magazine
