Sat, Nov 11 at Midnight: Introduction from Belcourt staff member Coley Hinson | BUY TICKETS

On an aircraft carrying some of the most notorious criminals of all time, the recently paroled Cameron Poe (Nicolas Cage in one of his most memorable longhaired roles) is hitching a ride home to his wife and daughter. But he suddenly finds himself embroiled in a mid-air skyjacking masterminded by Cyrus ‘The Virus’ Grissom (John Malkovich). While Cameron fights to keep these savage convicts from massacring everyone on board as they careen towards the famed Las Vegas Strip, a government agent on the ground battles to keep his overzealous superiors from blowing the plane into oblivion! Excellent performances from a cavalcade of beloved character actors, explosive action, and the best Michael Bay vibes this side of an actual Michael Bay film have earned CON AIR a devoted cult following. See it in anticipation of Nic Cage’s newest, DREAM SCENARIO, opening Nov 21.

“CON AIR…teaches us many things: Producer Jerry Bruckheimer never met an explosion, a car crash or 20 tough guys talking trash he didn’t like. Nicolas Cage is one of our most enjoyable screen heroes. As long as you’re funny, you can literally get away with murder in a movie.” —Desson Howe, Washington Post
