Weekend Classics: Remembering Sidney Poitier

Throughout February, we celebrate the life and work of the incomparable Sidney Poitier. The beloved actor, director, civil rights activist, and capital “I” Icon passed away early this year, leaving behind a legacy of groundbreaking work. With this limited film series, we can barely touch on all the projects that made him one of the most well-regarded artists of his time, so we humbly offer four of his greatest performances as an ode to his everlasting excellence.
