From delicate art school beginnings in industrial Philadelphia captured in ERASERHEAD  through the uncertainties of blue tomorrows in the Hollywood Hills in his Psychogenic Fugue Trilogy, this seminar is a survey of the late David Lynch’s work throughout the visual arts.

Encompassing his legendary film work (nine of which are playing as part of this series), television from Twin Peaks to The Cleveland Show and beyond, and his tactile and visceral painting and sculpture, this seminar traces the themes and iconography which help us see the guideposts for a singular American artist who hewed his own path and became his own adjective.

The man behind the memes and the cartographer of dreamscapes, David Lynch’s eye embodied the power of an uncompromised, transformative view of the world, and this seminar aims to take you for an extended look through his perspective on a world that is wild at heart and weird on top. (Please note: contains some stroboscopic imagery and unsettling themes.)
